Create a font from your own handwriting


Now you can turn your own handwriting into a font that you can use on your computer. You dont need to install anything, it runs over the web, and it's free. Head over to fontcapture.com all you have to do is click on "create your font now". It steps you through the process of creating your font. So they ask you to print out a PDF, these little boxes which you fill in the letter number character. Then you scan in the peace of paper, then when your done they will ask you to upload that particular image to the website, and then they will ask you to name the font. When your done voila you have your own font.

Voice Chat coming to facebook


Sometime in the next few weeks, the social network Facebook that millions of people use everyday. Users will be able to have high quality voice conversations with anyone on their friends list. . This is suprisingly not being offered by Facebook itself, it's being offered from Vivox, a Boston based company that provides the integrated voice service for virtual worlds.it's not clear how many of Facebook's users will choose to adopt Vivox's technology, and for the time being, at least, Facebook is not involved in any way in promoting the new service

Google News launches Arabic editions


Google News this week launched Arabic editions of its popular news aggregator for Egypt, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. Google would not display specific numbers on how many people actually use Google in Arabic-speaking nations. Having the Google and Yahoo services in Arabic will undoubtedly become the flow of information from and to the Arab world.

Astronauts complete second spacewalk


NASA officials said, that the space shuttle Discovery crew had completed there second spacewalks schedual out of the three they plan to do. The crew has unloaded about half of the 8 tons of supplies ferried to the station aboard Discovery, the astronauts have until Monday to complete the job. There third final spacewalk is schedual is set for Saturday.

Google apologizes for Gmail


tens of million of users use Gmail everyday. They rely on Gmail for there communication of course. On tuesday Gmail took some servers offline to perform routine maintenance, causing routers to become overloaded with traffic. widespread chatter on Twitter and other social networks were down. Treynor a Gmail server explained Google's engineers are compiling a list of things they intend to fix or improve as a result of their investigation into the breakdown.
