Some of YouTube's videos started featuring machine-generated captions this week. This will be a major impact and change for the deaf and hearing imparied, who do not have access to the majority of online videos.

Facebook paves way for IPO

Facebook has decided to introduce a dual-class stock structure, just like Google. It seemed very controversial for them to do, because they give certain shareholders much stronger voting rights than others.The use of seperate classes of shares to protect the voting contro; of a narrow group of investors. Facebook will convert all current shareholders to class-B stock, according to the Wall Street Journal, which first reported the plan.

3G wireless still holds promise

While many carriers are planning to upgrade to their 4G networks, hundreds of wireless providers throughout the world are also expected to upgrade their exisitng network, even though it's an upgrade the 3G applications are supposedto be as good as the 3G. For this reason, for the next couple of years most people will likely continue using their 3G technology, and 4G services will still be available, but not as popular.

New Study

According to a new study, older people have an increase of chance of getting run over when using a cell phone while walking across the street. The results are based on two lab studys in which participants had to maneuver on a treadmill to cross an actual street, the treadmill would move when the person walks. The first, with 36 college student, showed that the students who were trying to hold a phone conversation took 25 precent longer to cross the street. Second they took much elder people and noticed while they were walking with there cell phones in there hands and talking, it took them 30 seconds more. The phone added some kind of destraction for a starnge reason.

While the number may seem small compare to the 1.6 millions 3GS came out, it's still the fastest selling Android phone to date. Russia has decided to band the best selling game "call of duty Modern Warfare 2". So this means you will not find the game selling on any of the shelfs in Russia. The game revolves around a conflict between the US and Russia, the game is basically shooting civilian in a Russian air port. Thats one of the reason why the game had been band.

warner announced a service called DVD2BLU, this service enables customers to exchange used DVD movies to the same title just in blue ray format . Each exchange arranges from 8 to 10 dollar depending on the title, after you mail in your old DVD's on a prepaid you are going to receive a new BLURAY movie.

released Chrome OS source code

Google released the Chrome OS source code, this operating system from Google is free. At this event Google emphasize the speed which is a 7 second boot time. The Chrome OS is available now, but you would need to be running limits to build it, or you can wait for it's official release later on.
