The two time GhostBusters directors agreed this week to direct the greatly anticipated third installment in the series. Colombia pictures have been developing a script by two of the writers on NBC The Office and in an attempt to relaunch the franchise. It is set to start shooting next year.

Google has teamed up with the satellite imagery company GOI, to quickly make images of the destruction from the recent earthquake in Haiti, available on Google earth and Google map. It's hoped the images could prove to be a valuable tool for aid organizations attempting to assess the damage to Haiti's infrastructure.

Toby Maguire will not be in Spider-Man 4

Spider-Man 4 is not going to happen just yet, Sony has announced that Sam Raimi and Toby Maguire are cast out of Spider Man 4, there is going to be a new director and cast members in the summer of 2012. Along with a new story line that focuses on Peter Parker as a teen. This became a problem when Sony became unhappy with Raimi's choice of the vulture as the villain. There is no word on who is going to be replacing Toby Maguire or Sam Raimi just yet.
